AFFINITY ARTISTS AGENCY LITERARY REPRESENTATION

AAA's literary department has an impressive array of new and established screenwriters, directors, show creators, and novelists. We are as passionate about our clients' material as they are about it themselves. Our shared passion and sheer dedication moves us to sell screenplays, novels, scripted and reality television shows and to find employment for writers and directors in both feature and television arenas. We make it a point to cross motion picture clients into television, television clients into feature films, and novelists into the best of both worlds.

We represent writers first, and screenplays, treatments, ideas and books second. We're interested in building careers, in nurturing growth, artistic and commercial, with each project our clients write.

The literary arm of Affinity Artists Agency represents a broad roster of writers to the filmmaking world. Nurturing clients from original idea through final sale, we take a personal approach to the development and representation of content.

Submission Policy
Email a one page EMAIL query letter describing your work as well as your background;  You may also submit sample pages in the body of the email;  Agents will respond within three weeks but only if interested; No snail mail submissions

Authors interested in securing representation for their work should send a brief query letter via email that describes their project and qualifications for writing it, emphasizing any "platform" or audience they have developed, and any writing and publishing experience.

A fiction query should include a synopsis briefly describing it (approximate number of words or double-spaced pages, main characters, genre, and works to which it might sensibly be compared) and it should always give author contact information and relevant biographical information.

NEVER SEND AN ORIGINAL DOCUMENT.
DO NOT SEND A COMPLETED MANUSCRIPT AS AN ATTACHMENT WITHOUT BEING INVITED TO DO SO.

Manuscripts and Screenplays will not be returned!

If we are interested in your project, we will request more information.
We neither consider nor represent poetry, plays, or textbooks.
